Becca and Doug- Pratt Place Barn Wedding
We had the best time photographing Becca and Doug as they wed on a beautiful Fall day in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We are honored that they asked us to capture such a special and meaningful time in their lives. They are both so genuine and you can't help but love them both the second you meet them! Leslie and I photographed this wedding June 14 2013 and after a long blogging break, it's now time to share this beautiful summer vineyard wedding! For Ashley and Taylor, this was their destination wedding. They live in Texas and most all of their family and friends traveled in from Texas to attend their wedding. To be honest with you, this wedding was probably one of the most influential weddings to our business move here in California. It's actually amazing when I think about this wedding, how we booked it, the connections that we have made from it, and how important it relationships are in this business.
Ocean View Wedding in Dana Point // Rebeca + Dominick
Rebeca and Dominick tied the knot here in Orange County two weeks before picking up and moving all the way across the country to Mississippi. Their wedding was beautiful and Leslie and I were grateful to be a part of their story and document their coastal dream wedding. Dominick is going to be a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. My uncle was also a pilot in the air force so I'm somewhat familiar with the life of an Air Force family, I'm sure that Mississippi will just be the beginning of their adventures together! Who knows, maybe someday in the future that adventure could lead them right back to the sunny coast of California!
San Diego Wedding at Tom Ham's Lighthouse // Drew & Julie
Our first wedding of 2015 was Julie and Drew. These two are some of our favorite people and shooting their wedding kinda made us feel like we were back in the South, but with the Pacific Coast as a backdrop and no humidity. Honestly their wedding was amazing and one of our favorites. Drew is from Georgia and Julie is from NW Arkansas, they definitely had a few guests at their wedding from California, but the majority flew in from the South. We heard a few y'alls and some yes mam's and remembered how much fun our Southern weddings are. It's always amazing to me how two people from two different states can pick up and move across the country and then find each other there.
